POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The Driver ensures vehicle compliance with safety standards, adheres to all regulations, and completes vehicle condition reports daily to address any defects.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle, reporting safety issues.
2. Safely operate the truck along designated routes, following maps and service instructions.
3. Operate controls to lift, load, and dispose of waste per safety policies.
4. Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
5. Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers.
6. Monitor waste quality and respond to spills safely.
7. Maintain vehicle readiness, cleaning waste from the truck as needed.
8. Complete route sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other documentation.
9. Adhere to productivity and safety standards.
10. Participate in safety programs and perform additional duties as assigned.
11. Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating professionalism and trustworthiness.
12. Manage time effectively and follow company policies to promote safety.
13. Maintain pride in work and strive to meet all goals.

Minimum Requirements

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes endorsement.
