Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Riverview, MI. The role offers a weekly average pay of around $2,000, with benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for paid training.

The position features a regional route, sleeper tractor, and dry van equipment, with 60–70 hours of typical weekly work and potential Saturdays. Expect to drive with 1,000+ miles weekly, get paid per mile and per stop, plus nightly per diem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in last 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$1.35 per Mile with 1100 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$24.42 per Stop with 15 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $55.00 per night with 3 - 4 nights per Week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; possible Saturdays
• Start Time: 5:00 AM - 10:00 AM Dispatch

Requirements
