Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Novi, MI. You will drive on a consistent regional lane with a 3-night out schedule and home weekly, earning a weekly average of $1,700 to $1,900+ and an annual target of $95,000+.

Benefits begin after 30 days, with PTO from day 1 and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. You’ll work with a team that values safety, compliance, and clear communication across routes IL, MI, IN, OH, KY, CO, KS, MO, and MN.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• 9 months of experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards, maintain logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading when required by client.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Average drivers earn $1,700-$1,900+ weekly

• Earn $95,000+ per year
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.65 cents per mile
• Stops Pay: $25.00 per stop
• $2,500 Sign on Bonus
• Per Diem pay for each night out
• Paid Training
• Schedule:Home weekly. Average 3 nights out per week
• Dispatch Window: 3:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
