Position delivers regional routes in Southern/Central California and AZ, with Day Cab tractors and touch freight in groceries. Expect 40–50 hours weekly, nights out 1–2 nights, and varied start times. Paid training available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Provide Class A CDL with endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Assist in loading/unloading freight as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $25.00 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40 - 50 hours per week
• Nights Out 1 - 2 nights per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Start Time: 4:00 AM - 7:00 AM or 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Dispatch

Deliver SOLOTo:Southern CA, Northern CA, and AZ

• Route: Regional
• Tractor Type: Day Cab
• Tire Trailer Type: Dry Van 48', 53’
• Equipment: Electric and Manual Pallet Jack
• Freight: Touch – Groceries

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
