Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Irwindale, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for career growth across the Bay Area and surrounding regions.

Drivers operate 36 months or newer trucks with 24/7 roadside maintenance support, and a schedule of 50–60 hours per week at $30/hour plus per diem. Training provided; multiple benefits start after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in past 5 years OR 5 years in past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/ or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $30.00 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 50 - 60 hours per week
• Per Diem: $50.00 with 4 - 5 Nights out per week

Requirements
