Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Omaha, NE is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join a regional fleet with weekly pay and strong benefits.

You will run regional routes delivering to NE, KS, MI, IL, MO, drive Sleeper tractors with Dry Van trailers, and earn on average over $1,531 weekly with paid training and generous benefits after 30 days. Ryder provides 24/7 roadside maintenance, end-to-end onboarding, and opportunities for overtime pay and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with valid endorsements.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.60 per Mile with 2200 - 2500 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$26.00 per Stop with 15 - 20 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night with 1 - 2 nights per Week
• Loyalty Bonus:Pays You $2500 at 6 months and $2500 at 1 year
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Tuesday - Friday
• Start Time: 4:00 AM Average Dispatch Window

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
