Job summary

Ryder in Omaha, NE is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver. This role offers weekly pay, paid training, and a structured schedule with start times from 4:00 to 7:00 AM.

You will drive a straight truck, handle heavy touch freight, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safe driving practices. Position features include uniforms and boot allowance, 401(k) with company match after one year, and generous referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL and endorsements.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Experience requirements: 9 months in 3 years OR 2 years in 5 years OR 5 years in 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
