Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for Arlington, TX. The role offers local home daily routes with weekly pay, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and no-touch freight. Endorsements required, with doubles preferred, and a day cab/dry van setup.

Driver will operate between Arlington and Midland with daytime start times and a Monday–Friday schedule, occasional Sunday runs. Ryder provides medical, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days, PTO from day 1 (up to 80 hours first year), uniform allowance,

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• $2,000 sign on bonus - 1/2 at 30 days 1/2 at 90 days
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.588 per Mile with 2200 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$20.00 per Stop with 3 - 4 Stops per Week
• Schedule: Monday - Friday occasional Sunday run
• Start Time: 1:00 PM

Requirements
