Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. You will drive solo to TX and surrounding states, earning weekly pay with a daily guarantee and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Expect 60–65 hours per week, with schedules varying by account. Ryder provides training on equipment and safety procedures while supporting your career growth and employee wellness.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and endorsements.
• 9 months to 5 years experience in truck driving.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background and motor vehicle check.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass Ryder road test.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

$1875 or more per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Pay: Daily Guarantee of $375.00 if available to work
• Hours Per Week: 60 - 65 hours per week average
• Start Time: Varies depending on the account you cover for the week
• Schedule: Monday – Friday but willing to be out 2 weeks

• Route: Varies, Must be willing to be out 2 weeks at a time
• Tractor Type: Day Cab, Sleeper and Box Trucks
• TrailerType:Dry Van 53’, Reefer, Flatbed
• Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, Lift gates, Forklift, Moffet
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch, No Touch or live load/unload depending on account

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
