Job summary

NFI Industries is hiring drivers for flatbeds and Conestoga trailers to deliver freight across the Northeast Corridor. Drivers will enjoy home time twice a week, competitive pay between $1,300 and $1,600 weekly, and benefits that start on day one including health, dental, and vision coverage. The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL, at least one year of flatbed experience, and a HAZMAT endorsement. Responsibilities include safe operation of vehicles and adherence to all regulations as well as customer service expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• Minimum 1 year of flatbed experience in the last 3 years preferred.
• HAZMAT endorsement required (NFI will reimburse).
• Acceptable references from past employers.
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment.
• Regularly report problems with equipment and accidents.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and perform route duties.

Qualifications

Driver Expectations

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties, including moving, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.

Pay Range: $1,300.00–$1,600.00 per week.
