Job summary

Wesco is hiring immediately for a non-CDL Truck Driver in Stafford, VA. We will teach you distribution and supply chain techniques valued by Fortune 250 companies. Shift is Monday through Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., with opportunities for growth in a global logistics leader.

As a Truck Driver, you will transport cargo, prepare documentation for delivery or pickup, and ensure timely service. Requires a valid license and a satisfactory driving record; 2 years of driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Truck Driver license.
• 2 years required of truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up
• Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers
• Maintain records in accordance with regulations
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded

A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. * Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.
