Wesco is hiring immediately for a non-CDL Truck Driver in Alabama (Stafford). Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.

We teach distribution and supply chain techniques valued by Fortune 250 companies, helping you launch a career with a global leader. As a Truck Driver you will load, secure, and unload cargo, verify paperwork, and maintain records. You must have a valid Truck Driver license and at least 2 years of driving experience, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to lift up

• Must have a valid Truck Driver license.
• 2 years required of truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up
• Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers
• Maintain records in accordance with regulations
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded

A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. * Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up

• Maintain records in accordance with regulations
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc.,
