Job summary

Legends is seeking a full-time Truck Driver in San Francisco, CA to operate and maintain the catering truck, transport food and equipment, and ensure safety and sanitation at events. You will log mileage, monitor temperature controls, and assist with setup at venues under Catering by SMG management. Requires 21+ and a valid CA driver’s license.

You will work with the SMG F&B team, follow union rules, and support on-site safety and equipment maintenance during functions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull heavy equipment.
• Must be a member in good standing of the local Union.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Catering Truck and related food service equipment.
• Transport and secure F&B menu items, inventory, and equipment to Mes or Off-Site properties.
• Maintain temperature controls and on-line readiness of equipment and inventory.
• Inspect all equipment and report damages or shortages; assist with repairs as needed.
• Move and transport equipment per Catering by SMG Management guidance; monitor equipment during events.

## Truck DriverApply: San Francisco, CA: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R100125629# POSITION DUTIES: · Reports to Kitchen in appropriate uniform, for assigned duties* Operation and maintenance of Catering Truck.* Complete daily Truck log, logging any damages and mileage* Transport and secure F&B menu items, inventory, equipment, etc to SMG and Off-Site properties* Maintains proper temperature controls on transported food items* Maintain and check all Food and Beverage equipment for on-line readiness.* Tag/report and transport all inoperable or damaged equipment to proper location for repair.* Basic repair and maintenance of F&B inventory and equipment* Move and transport equipment as requested by Catering by SMG Management.* Maintain all safety, sanitation and security procedures.* Assist and instruct utility person(s) in placing portable equipment in proper locations as instructed by Catering by SMG Management.* Monitor equipment during functions.* Inspect all Food and Beverage equipment on an event-by-event or weekly basis as to condition and disposition.* Operates Fork- Lift* Transports, sets and Maintains Bar locations* Adheres to Catering by SMG Recycling Program* Inform Asset Manager/Dir.
