Job summary

Preston Refrigeration is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely deliver construction goods to jobsites across the United States. You will load/unload cargo, maintain delivery records, refuel and clean vehicles, and adhere to DOT regulations while traveling as required.

A Class A CDL, clean MVR, and ability to travel up to 90% with overnight stays are essential. The role also involves warehouse support when deliveries are slow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to maintain a Class A commercial driver license.
• Must have clean MVR.
• Must be able to pass drug test.
• Must be able to travel out-of-state.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time with overnight stays.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, drive and sit for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Drive company delivery vehicle to deliver construction goods to jobsites across the U.S.
• Load and unload cargo, keep record of cargo deliveries.
• Refuel and clean vehicles when needed.
• Follow traffic laws and report any traffic violations to management immediately.
• Comply with DOT regulations and maintain E-log and log hours.
• Follow accident procedures and report all road incidents.
• Inspect truck and trailer prior to departure and report any mechanical issues.
• Adheres to Preston Refrigeration guidelines for expense reporting and submits to AP team in a timely manner.
• Willingness to travel as needed throughout the continental US
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude
• Assist around warehouse as needed during delivery downtime
• Other duties as assigned

The pay range for this role is: 22 - 27 USD per hour(KC Office)
