Job summary

Preston Refrigeration is hiring a Transportation Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of construction goods to jobsites across the United States. You will work with teammates to plan routes, load/unload cargo, and maintain logs while adhering to DOT regulations.

The role requires a Class A CDL, clean MVR, ability to travel up to 90% with overnight stays, and strong time management and customer service skills. Join a team of refrigeration specialists supporting nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training.
• Must have a Class A commercial driver license (CDL).
• Clean MVR required and able to pass drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drive company delivery vehicle to deliver construction goods to jobsites across the U.S.
• Load and unload cargo, keep record of cargo deliveries.
• Refuel and clean vehicles when needed.
• Follow traffic laws and report any traffic violations to management.
• Comply with DOT regulations and maintain E-log and log hours.
• Follow accident procedures and report all road incidents.
• Inspect truck and trailer prior to departure and report any mechanical issues.
• Adheres to Preston Refrigeration guidelines for expense reporting and submits to AP team in a timely manner.
• Willingness to travel as needed throughout the continental US.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude.
• Assist around warehouse as needed during delivery downtime.
• Other duties as assigned.

About The Role

The Transportation Driver ensures a safe and timely manner of all items being delivered to the customer. Works with other personnel of Preston Refrigeration as a team to plan and route all deliveries.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

22 - 27 USD per hour(KC Office)
