Job summary

ESI Electrical Contractors in Dayton, OH seeks a warehouse support driver to assist with deliveries, inventory, and material orders. The role involves local box truck driving, loading/unloading, and kit preparation for production.

Qualifications

• One year experience driving a box truck.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently following set criteria with supervision of site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & inventory of goods, kitting projects, transporting goods via truck / box truck and / or forklift and shipping.
• Receive deliveries and check for accuracy.
• Kit projects for production.
• Clean & wrap final product for delivery.
• Daily pick up / Deliver in the local area (using company provided vehicle / box truck).
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.
• Plan deliveries of equipment & material.
• Clean job site as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

This position provides overall support to the warehouse. Making deliveries and assisting with material orders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• One year experience driving a box truck

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Forklift Certification preferred
• Knowledge of banding/strapping equipment.
• Requires organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently following set criteria with supervision of site leadership
