Job summary

Byer Steel in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Truck Driver with a CDL Class A to deliver material and perform pickups as scheduled by the Transportation Manager.

• Maintain safe driving practices at all times and keep equipment clean
• Complete a post-inspection of equipment and notify manager of any defects

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to push, pull, climb, twist and bend
• Tighten straps/chain binders
• Crank landing gear
• Climb on trucks/trailers/boxes
• Tarp loads

Environmental Requirements

• PPE required
• Must be trained on spills, clean-up and dispose of spilled material properly
• Must notify manager of any spills for immediate clean-up
