Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, seeks an experienced Truck Driver to join our Indiana supply chain logistics team. You will safely transport goods between plants, retail centers, and distribution hubs while maintaining safety policy compliance.

The role requires long hours and travel, strict adherence to federal regulations, and routine vehicle inspections with basic maintenance. A high school diploma and clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background/drug checks required.
  • At least 1 year of trucking or relevant field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from plants or distribution centers.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers; retain fuel/toll receipts.
  • Input macros into automated loading/unloading system for each stage.

Job Summary

The Truck Driver position requires an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Job Responsibilities
  • Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  • Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Report defects, accidents or violations
  • Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
Job Requirements
  • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • No recent moving or driving violations
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
  • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
