Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to support its supply chain logistics operations in the United States. The role requires safe, timely transportation of finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing plants and distribution centers, with routine route planning and documentation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with GPS/AVL tools, a clean driving record, and the ability to work long hours and travel regularly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Transport finished goods and raw materials between sites.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance and safety.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document work/rest periods and keep receipts for fuel/toll costs.
• Input macros into automated loading/unloading system.
• Follow truck driving rules and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Maintain regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility.

Job Summary

The Truck Driver position requires an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures
• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

Job Requirements

• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
