Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to support its supply chain logistics team in a safe and timely manner.

You will transport goods and materials to manufacturing plants and distribution centers, inspect vehicles, and plan efficient routes while adhering to safety policies and regulations. The role requires driving long hours and maintaining thorough records of hours, fuel, and deliveries.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Willing to submit to background/drug checks.
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Transport finished goods and raw materials to plants and distribution centers.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Document and log work/rest periods and fuel receipts.

Job Summary

The Truck Driver position requires an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Job Responsibilities
  • Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  • Input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
Job Requirements
  • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • No recent moving or driving violations
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
  • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
