Job summary

LHH is seeking a Trucking Dispatch Team Lead in Atlanta, GA to lead trucking and cross-border activities across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Contract Logistics. This hands-on leadership role focuses on optimizing operations, improving processes, and delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.

The role is regional, collaborates with domestic and international stakeholders, requires managing carriers, monitoring KPIs, and driving cost-effective transportation solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trucking, dispatch, or logistics experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting domestic and international transportation.
• Understanding of trucking operations and carrier management.
• Experience with end-to-end transportation transactions.
• Exposure to Air Freight or Ocean Freight is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end trucking dispatch activities.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation movements.
• Support airport, seaport, and cross-border transportation requirements.
• Manage carrier relationships and vendor performance.
• Monitor KPIs and tariff/pricing accuracy in transportation systems.
• Lead process improvements and train staff.
• Present recommendations to leadership.
