You will plan routes, arrange pickups/deliveries, and use DAT and Truckstop to identify opportunities. The base salary starts at $45,000 with uncapped commissions and earnings potential of $120,000+.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, or freight dispatching.
• Familiarity with DAT and Truckstop load boards.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily truck dispatching, freight assignments, and driver schedules.
• Plan efficient routes and arrange freight pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, loads, and changes.
• Negotiate freight rates and delivery timelines with customers and brokers.
• Provide customers with shipment updates and delivery information.
• Review driver logs and maintain transportation records.
• Complete shipment documentation and dispatch records.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with customers.
