BASIC PURPOSE

Truck Care Cashiers help run our business by providing excellent customer service while operating the cash registers, inputting and verifying service orders, stocking merchandise, and light housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers politely and assist them.
2. Serve as the first point of contact in the lobby and connect customers with service specialists.
3. Accurately input work order information into POS and verify services.
4. Operate cash register and maintain an organized cash drawer.
5. Close out pending invoices.
6. Communicate with fleet maintenance departments for work authorizations and purchase orders.
7. Answer phones promptly and use proper etiquette.
8. Interface with electronic platforms for clear communication.
9. Stock and face merchandise.
10. Maintain customer area and restrooms, including cleaning and sanitation tasks.
11. Perform weekly and monthly projects.
12. Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards.
13. Follow safety practices to ensure a safe environment.
14. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months retail and cash handling experience preferred.
• Trucking industry experience is a plus.

Skills and Physical Demands

• Skills:
  • Ability to operate a cash register and perform housekeeping tasks.
  • Good communication, time management, organization, and work ethic.
• Physical Demands:
  • Talking, hearing, standing, walking, and some lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Exposure to outdoor elements, fumes, moving mechanical parts, noise, dirt, dust, grease, oil, and human waste. Occasionally exposed to loud environments.
