Job summary

U-Haul is seeking skilled technicians to maintain its fleet of Ford and GMC trucks and trailers. The role focuses on tire and brake maintenance, ensuring vehicles remain in top condition.

Responsibilities include securing trucks on lifts, mounting and balancing tires, and occasionally road testing vehicles. The position involves work on a production line with opportunities for training and advancement within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license.
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Basic computer skills.
• Regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires.
• Occasionally road test vehicles.
• Work in a production line.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Team members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
