U-Haul seeks a Brake and Tire Technician to maintain Ford and GMC trucks and keep our fleet in peak condition for customers. Paid, hands-on interviewing is offered with a focus on teamwork and growth through a technician training program.

You will operate on a production line, secure vehicles for service, and use U-Haul’s tools and pre-inspection checklist to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work on Ford and GMC trucks.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires.
• Occasionally road test vehicles.
• Work in a production line.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as necessary under supervisor guidance.
