Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Brake and Tire Technician to maintain our mobile fleet in Mobile, AL. You will secure trucks, perform tire and brake maintenance, mount and balance tires, and occasionally road test vehicles on a production line.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Driver's license is required.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Basic computer skills are expected.
• Regular attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires.
• Occasionally road test vehicles.
• Work in a production line.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as directed by supervisor.
