Ohio Peterbilt is seeking a Body Shop Technician to perform collision, structural, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs on trucks and trailers. You will work with customers and the Parts Department to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient service.

Responsibilities include diagnosing damage, coordinating parts, documenting repairs, and conducting road tests when needed. Experience with welding, paint systems, and shop equipment is favored.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of body shop, collision repair, or related experience.
• Experience using welding equipment, paint systems, shop machinery, and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision and body repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Identify and report hidden damage during the repair process.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts.
• Document repairs and recommendations on repair orders.
• Conduct road tests as needed to verify repair quality.
• Participate in training programs and maintain required certifications.
• Assist with mentoring less experienced technicians.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Properly care for company tools and equipment.
• Follow all EPA, OSHA, DOT, and company safety requirements.
