Job summary

Ohio Peterbilt, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., seeks skilled technicians to diagnose failures and perform repair work on Peterbilt vehicles. You will follow repair orders, collaborate with service staff, and ensure high-quality service in a dynamic shop environment.

In addition to vehicle repairs, you will mentor newer technicians, uphold safety standards, and stay compliant with EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations while maintaining a neat, professional workspace.

Qualifications

• A vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair, equivalent military training, or previous equivalent experience is required.
• Must have strong computer skills.
• Class A or B CDL Preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and recommend repair procedures.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Receive direction from the Service Supervisor and work primarily on Peterbilt vehicles.
• Interacts with dealership personnel, manufacturer representatives, and customers.
• Provide mentorship to less-skilled technicians and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and report any safety issues to management.
• Comply with EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations while performing duties.
