Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Body Shop Technician to deliver superb customer service and top-quality collision repair work in a busy shop environment.

You will need a high school diploma or equivalent and practical experience in a collision center. You must operate power and hand tools, read instructions, and work with hoists and test equipment. This is a full-time role with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• To qualify for a Body Shop Technician position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Past collision center experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required.
• You must be able to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely.
• You must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Dressing professionally and being able to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts is a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide superb customer service in the body shop.
• Stand six to eight hours per shift.
• Lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times per shift.
• Operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely.
• Read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Use hoist and test equipment as needed.
