Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• 1+ years of industry experience or servicing mechanical HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems, facilities management, site prep, and servicing techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls professionally.

Responsibilities

• Apprentices will be trained and perform on HVAC mechanical equipment and controls on client sites.
• Participate in certified training through Service Technical Academy to build skills and future opportunities.
• Develop troubleshooting abilities for technical issues and customer needs.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues, and meet union training requirements in year one.
• Propose solutions to improve facility efficiency and provide quotes when recommending actions.
