Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of practical field experience with residential/ light commercial equipment.
• Two years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to join UA of Plumbers & Pipefitters.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot three-phase HVAC equipment, RTUs, heat pumps, fans and related systems.
• Assist Journeymen with repair and service of centrifugal, absorption, screw, and scroll chillers.
• Provide recommendations to improve comfort, reliability, efficiency and sustainability.
• Prepare labor and material quotes to support service work and customer decisions.
• Support on-call coverage including weekends, nights and holidays.
