Job summary

Live Oak Restaurant Group is seeking a bartender to greet guests, take orders, and prepare beverages and food according to standard recipes. You will handle payments, maintain bar stock, and ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards.

The role requires basic POS proficiency and a friendly, efficient demeanor. This position offers opportunities to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting with standard tips and promotions, and requires 18+ years of age with TIPS certification or Bar

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must obtain TIPS Alcohol Awareness certification or Bar Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely, positive manner.
• Take beverage and food orders from guests.
• Prepare drinks ordered by servers.
• Maintain bar stock and restock as needed.
• Clean bar surfaces, glasses, and utensils.
• Sanitize ice wells, coolers, and bar tools per Health Department standards.
• Serve beverages and food.
• Record sales in the POS system and process payments.

BartendershiredatLive Oak Restaurant Group locations must perform the following tasks:

• Greet guests in a timely manner & with a positive attitude.
• Take beverage & food orders directly from guests.
• Prepare drinks ordered by servers via ServiceBar printer.
• Have working knowledge of classic and current drink recipes including those specific to restaurant location.
• Have working knowledge of restaurant menu including daily specials & promotions.
• Collectpayment for allfood& beveragesserved and record sales in Aloha Point of Sales system.
• Process credit card & cash transactions efficiently.
• Maintain control of bar stock and arrange supplies.
• Clean glasses and additional utensils.
• Sanitize ice wells, coolers, and other bar tools in accordance with Health Department standards.
• Serve beverages and food.
• Clean bar incudingfloors,bar rails, mats &surrounding area(s).
• Slice fruitand prepare garnishes fordrinks.
• Maintain clean and organized bar at all times.
• Restock beer, wine, liquor & mixers asneeded at beginning and end of shift.
• Removetrash cans & take to designated area.

Requirements

Bartender at a Live Oak Restaurant Group location are required to:

• Be 18 years of age or over.
• Obtain TIPS Alcohol Awareness certification (classes provided by Live Oak Restaurant Group) or Bar Card.
