Nacho Daddy - Downtown in Las Vegas seeks an experienced bartender to ensure quick drink prep and exceptional guest service. You will open/close the bar, greet guests by name, upsell, and maintain a clean, well-stocked station while following health and safety guidelines.

Requirements include 1 year of bartending, 21+ with TAM Card, Food Handler’s Safety Card, and Sheriff’s Card, plus the ability to stand 8 hours and lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A current TAM Card, Food Handler’s Safety Card, and Sheriff’s Card are required.
• Minimum 1 year bartending experience is required.
• Experience in a nightlife setting is preferred.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift at least 50 pounds; English proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Open and close the bar and greet guests with a friendly, timely approach.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks per recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean workstation and bar area per health department guidelines.

Ensuring consistent drink quality by preparing orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines established by the Food and Beverage department while providing an exceptional guest experience

II. Job Functions

• Opening and closing of bar
• Greeting guests in a friendly and timely manner with your name and any specials/recommendations
• Understanding and utilizing seat numbers in the bar and service area
• Verifying guests who purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age, and that alcohol is consumed in designated areas
• Using TAM techniques to monitor guest’s alcohol consumption
• Maintaining a clean and stocked workstation and bar equipment according to health department guidelines
  • Cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
  • Utilizing day dots and labels
  • Clearing and resetting bar area
  • Daily deep cleaning tasks
• Possessing full knowledge of bar/food products and trends in alcohol along with suggestive selling techniques
• Accurately taking orders and delivering orders in a timely manner
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks consistent with drink recipe ingredients and portioning for the entire restaurant
• Holding servers accountable when drinks are input incorrectly
• Preparing and processing check in a timely manner
• Understanding and utilization of POS functions
• Ability to maintain an accurate bank
• Assisting in stocking alcohol
• Creating a personalized experience for each guest
• Fully understanding upselling, sales approaches, common complaints, how to prioritize yourself, how to maintain bar area, safety and sanitation, company policies, and the basic steps of service

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A current TAM Card, Food Handler’s Safety Card, and Sheriffs Card
• Minimum 1 year bartending experience required
• Experience in a night life setting is preferred
• Must have a well groomed disposition to make a favorable impression.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and converse comfortably with guests in English
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to at least 8 hours in a fast-paced, crowded, and noisy environments including nights, weekends, and holidays
• At times, must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Compliance to any reasonable request by management
