Job summary

Trout Creek Recreation Center in Truckee, CA is seeking a friendly Part-time Host to greet members and guests and ensure an exceptional visit. You will handle front-desk inquiries, class enrollments and merchandise questions.

You will help maintain locker rooms, restrooms, pools and fitness areas, restock towels and supplies, and assist with snow removal when needed. A cheerful, reliable team player with strong people skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and “people” skills; must love dealing with people.
• Professional manner and respect for all users at all times.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are recommended.
• Cash handling experience/training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with retail merchandise, class enrollment and answering questions in person and by phone.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and secure the facility.
• Maintain amenity areas (locker rooms, gym, spa) and restock towels and supplies.
• Assist with snow removal and other custodial tasks as needed.

The Recreation Center Host are the front lines and first impressions when it comes to the service of Trout Creek Recreation Center. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that members and guests are greeted with a smile, and that all guests continue to experience an exceptional level of customer service and support throughout their visit. This position provides seamless transitions during and between each stage of the guest experience. This position is responsible for maintaining the amenity grounds including but not limited to locker rooms, gym and spa cleanliness as well as replenishing towels, toiletries and other minor custodial tasks.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvides excellent customer service to customers, employees and business partners.Performs opening and closing procedures including securing the facility, moving pool covers as needed, checking pool and spa chemicals.Performs frequent facility inspections of restrooms, sauna, steam room, pools, spas, fitness room, office and entry to ensure areas are clean and free of debris and trash.Assists members and guests with retail merchandise, class enrollment and answering questions, both in person and by telephone.Assist with snow removal including shoveling, snow blowing, and clearing snow from walkways and handicap access, equipment and other areas as needed.We have part time seasonal opportunities available!To view the complete job description, please click HERE!!We offer competitive starting pay based on experience and availability, performance-based advancement, use of Tahoe Donner Association Amenities, free gym membership at Trout Creek Recreation Center, food & beverage discounts and retail discounts!It's all happening HERE at Tahoe Donner Association!
