Job summary

Tahoe Donner Association is seeking a Front-of-House Supervisor for our Winter Food and Beverage team at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort in Truckee, CA. This full-time seasonal role oversees cafeteria cashiers, bartenders, and custodial staff, ensuring outstanding guest service and smooth daily operations.

You will schedule, train, and support staff, monitor cleanliness and safety, and maintain POS accuracy.

Qualifications

• TIPS certification required.
• Safe Food Handling Certification required.
• Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
• Experience in front-of-house supervision or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front-of-house operations including cashiers, bartenders, and custodial staff.
• Schedule and train staff to ensure peak and off-peak coverage.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all guest-facing areas.
• Ensure cash handling procedures and POS usage are followed accurately.
• Monitor inventory and restock front-of-house supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with F&B Managers and Mountain Operations for events and staffing.

Tahoe Donner Association is looking for a fun and personable Food and Beverage Front-of-House Supervisor to join our Winter Food and Beverage team! The Front-of-House Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of cafeteria cashiers, bartenders, and custodial staff at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort. This position ensures a high level of guest service, operational efficiency, and cleanliness throughout all public-facing areas. The supervisor coordinates scheduling, monitors inventory and cleanliness standards, provides staff training and support, and works collaboratively with the Food & Beverage and Operations teams to maintain a welcoming and well-run environment. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills are essential in delivering a positive guest experience and supporting team success during the busy winter season.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide excellent customer service to members, guests, business partners and employees. Ensures all staff meet or exceed the highest level of guest service in the performance of their duties.Supervise daily operations of cafeteria cashiers, bartenders, and custodial staff to ensure smooth and efficient front-of-house service.Schedule, train, and support front-of-house staff, ensuring proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours.Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all guest-facing areas, including the cafeteria, bar, restrooms, and common spaces.Ensure cash handling procedures and POS systems are followed accurately and securely by cashier and bar staff.Oversee restocking and inventory of front-of-house supplies, including condiments, paper goods, cleaning supplies, and bar items.Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment with a strong focus on guest service.Respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a timely, professional manner.Communicate regularly with Food & Beverage Managers and Mountain Operations to coordinate events, staffing, and facility needs.Conduct regular inspections to ensure facility readiness, appearance, and safety.Support emergency response efforts and enforce health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.This is a Full-Time Seasonal opportunity!!To view the complete job description, please click HERE!!We offer competitive starting pay based on experience and availability, performance-based advancement, use of Tahoe Donner Association Amenities, free gym membership at Trout Creek Recreation Center, food & beverage discounts and retail discounts!It's all happening HERE at Tahoe Donner Association!
