Job summary

Green River College seeks an Educational Planner for TRiO Student Support Services. This 50% FTE role (20 hours/week) supports students, provides academic and personal advising, and connects them to on- and off-campus resources. The position reports to the TRiO Director and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion across TRiO activities.

Funding through 06/30/2027; salary is $35,664 annually with benefits. Primary location is the Auburn campus, with potential hybrid work up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to work with students experiencing high stress affecting academics; assess, develop, and refer to resources.
• Experience with under-represented populations and commitment to equity in student success.
• Working knowledge of online tools (Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, LMSs, CRM, Canvas, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising and holistic student support for TRiO participants.
• Maintain communication with students to monitor progress toward academic, career, and personal goals.
• Collaborate with Registrar, Financial Aid, and other student support services to resolve issues.
• Build relationships with community partners and campus departments to support TRiO objectives.
• Deliver equity-centered learning experiences with TRiO staff and partners.
