Job summary

Lewis Tree Service is hiring for a Trimmer Trainee. You’ll learn to manage vegetation around power lines, prune, lift logs, and assist crews across multiple worksites. Expect hands-on training, safety emphasis, and progression opportunities within a large employee-owned team.

You’ll work on outdoor sites with ground-level to aerial tasks, earning competitive pay and benefiting from ESOP and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months on tree crews as Groundperson or Driver.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vegetation management around power lines.
• Prune and lift logs while supervised.
• Support site prep, equipment setup and cleanup.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, sprayers, ropes.
