Job summary

IES seeks a Trimble Design/Operator to support design operations and perform precise field layouts for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems using Trimble tech. You will prepare CAD/BIM models and coordinate project activities to meet standards and safety requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of Trimble equipment, CAD/BIM, and reading complex drawings. Travel to project sites may be required; this is an on-site position with opportunities to contribute to design coordination and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience as Trimble Operator or Designer preferred.
Experience with Trimble Robotic Total Stations.
Experience using CAD/BIM software, including AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Prepare CAD/BIM models and construction layouts for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Perform precise field layouts and stake-outs using Trimble equipment.
Conduct field measurements and as-built surveys for accuracy.
Review drawings to identify layout conflicts and coordinate across trades.
