Job summary

Miniat LLC is seeking a Trim Trainee for 2nd shift to progress through trimming tasks to meet product specifications. You will follow training materials, observe processes, and perform repetitive tasks while ensuring throughput and quality standards.

Preferred candidates have meat trimming or butchering experience and familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and USDA regulations. Union benefits apply after a 90-day probation period, with medical, vision, dental and paid time off.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $21.60 Hourly

Position Description:

Performs specific duties that will allow individual to progress in completion of summative assessment, learning tools, and application of skill/ability to complete processing of trimming to product specification.

Requirements:

• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred Experience/Skillset:

• Able to speak English preferred.


• Meat trimming or butchering experience.


• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/push/pull product more than 30 pounds occasionally.


• 100% of day spent on work floor standing and trimming.


• 100% of day spent in temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees

This is a union position and comes with benefits provided by the union, upon completion of the 90 day probationary period. Benefits include: medical, vision and dental as well as 1 week of paid time off after 1 year of employment.
