Job summary

Olsten is seeking a reliable Trim Sawoperator for a full-time, temp-to-perm role with steady hours. The shift starts early, with a requirement to be ready by 6:30 am and to stay until the mill shuts down.

Responsibilities include monitoring the waste system, notifying maintenance when needed, keeping a clean, safe area, and following all safety guidelines. Prior warehouse or lumber yard experience is preferred.

• Previous warehouse or lumber yard experience preferred (not required).
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Trim Sawoperator to join our team. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with consistent hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be here and ready to workby 6:30 am. If you are going to be late or out, you must notify management before the start of the shift.

• Stay until the mill shuts down. If you have to leave early, you must notify management as soon as possible.

• Watch the waste system for any belts, rollcases, or vibrators that stop turning or piling up.

  Notify maintenance if something is not running correctly.

  Wear appropriate PPE

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent kneeling and bending to secure strapping

• Ability to lift, push, and pull lumber materials

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Comfortable working in a warehouse or outdoor lumber yard environment

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or lumber yard experience preferred (not required)

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
