48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Saw Shop Operator to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood used in pallet creation. The role is based at Riverside, CA with Monday–Friday shifts and an hourly pay of $19.00.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and may benefit from prior lumber/warehouse experience. You will work under safety guidelines and may receive overtime and additional pay benefits.

• Experience in lumber/warehouse/construction preferred.

Job description

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
