Champion Metal Supply LLC in Riverside, IA is seeking a Trim Production Senior Associate to perform production work on the Trim folder and to operate and clean the machine weekly to keep it at peak performance.

You will review orders for accurate trim production, take precise measurements, plan task sequences, load/unload trim from machines, check quality, document defects, and maintain a safe, organized workstation while contributing to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical skills.
• Able to work well with others and listen to directions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attentive and active listening skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Understanding of fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Review orders to ensure accurate trim production.
• Take precise measurements for cutting and shaping.
• Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete the work order.
• Operate break press
• Follow on-screen instructions for material handling
• Adjust machine as needed for trim profiles
• Load and unload trim from machines, carts and dollies
• Check trim for quality and document defects
• Identify best use of material to reduce waste
• Maintain overstock inventory
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation
• Assist in Trim wrapping as needed
