• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

JOB TITLE: Trim Operator

Location: Independence

Schedule: M-F 6AM-3:30PM

Hourly Pay: $17-20

Term: Temp-Hire

Role and Responsibilities

1. Operating a powered folder, CTL line, slitters, and making small parts to produce metal roof and side panels.
2. Checking and visually inspecting produced trims against specifications to ensure a defect free product has been produced.
3. Installing tooling and adjusting machinery to trim specifications
4. Entering and sequencing parts for each order into a pathfinder and control board computer system
5. Operating a forklift/Combi Lift for positioning coils at un-coiler and moving produced material around the warehouse
6. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1. Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
2. Ability to operate a forklift/Combi Lift.
3. Ability to work independently and with others.
4. High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment

1. Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
2. Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift.
3. Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months.
4. The noise level is moderate to loud.
