Job summary

UTEX Industries, a leading manufacturer in Weimar, TX, seeks a hands-on Trim Operator to join our team. You will operate process and mechanical equipment, use measuring tools, and ensure production meets specifications.

This full-time, on-site role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), comfort with physical tasks, and adherence to PPE and safety standards. Benefits include competitive pay and growth opportunities at UTEX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 0-3 years job related experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs.
• Basic math, computer, and communication skills.
• Comfortable with physical tasks like bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely and consistently operate process and mechanical equipment such as clicker press, lathes, ovens and other equipment as required
• Effectively utilize measuring tools such as scales, calipers, rulers and other tools as required
• Safely utilize sharp tools such as razor blades, scalpels, scissors and other tools as required
• Adhere to company policies, standard work procedures and job safety standards, including required PPE
• Support preventative maintenance program efforts
• Accurately input data to the MRP system
• Produce products within specifications and production requirements
• Maintain product identification and traceability
