Job summary

Perry Ellis International in Miami seeks a detail-oriented Trims Assistant to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of garment branding trims and packaging. You will lead sample approvals, maintain the trims library, and ensure PLM data accuracy while coordinating with global vendors and internal teams.

Candidates with 1–3 years in apparel development or trim management are ideal; entry-level with relevant skills will be considered.

Qualifications

Strong eye for color accuracy and material quality standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional and global vendor alignment.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with high submit volumes.

Responsibilities

Independently review and approve branding trims and packaging samples across brands.
Evaluate submissions for color accuracy, physical quality, layout, and specifications.
Troubleshoot variances with vendors to keep production on schedule.
Direct vendor feedback to trim suppliers and coordinate with internal teams.
Act as liaison between Design, Merchandising, Graphics, Purchasing and Sales to gather artwork and reviews.
Track approval timelines to prevent bulk production delays.
Manage complete trim lifecycle in PLM with real-time data.
