Job summary

Trillium in downtown Boise is seeking a friendly, guest-focused Server to provide attentive, knowledgeable service and ensure memorable dining experiences from start to finish.

You will greet guests, take orders with the Toast system, maintain a clean station, know our menu, and work closely with kitchen and bar teams. TIPS certification and liquor knowledge are preferred, with training offered on hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering exceptional customer service in hospitality.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• TIPS certification or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
• Knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible beverage service.
• Ability to prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Server at Trillium, you’ll provide attentive, personable, and knowledgeable service to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience from start to finish.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests in a timely manner, anticipating and fulfilling needs with efficiency and care.


• Maintain a clean and organized station, following setup and detailing standards.


• Demonstrate full knowledge of menu offerings.


• Accurately take and enter orders using Toast system to ensure food and beverage items are delivered promptly and correctly.


• Stay informed on liquor, beer, wine, and mixology standards while promoting responsible alcohol service in accordance with state laws.


• Assist in morning service operations, including setup and side-work duties.


• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and fellow team members to ensure smooth service.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating positive guest experiences.


• Minimum 2 years of serving experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.


• Must be TIPS certified or willing to obtain certification upon hire.


• Knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible beverage service.


• Ability to prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work weekends and holidays according to business needs.


• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

AM & PM Shifts Available

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry trays or items weighing up to 25 lbs.


• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.


• Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
