Job summary

Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a Tribal Programs Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to ensure smooth operations of the Tribal Programs Department.

Responsibilities include answering calls, supporting committee meetings, filing, mail distribution, calendar updates, and assisting tribal members with forms and applications; weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience at an Administrative Assistant level.
• Must be detail oriented, able to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, and handle interruptions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work weekends when requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and answer telephone calls professionally.
• Provide administrative support to Tribal Programs staff and assist with committee meeting prep and action items.
• Maintain and distribute mail, file documents, and keep a secure work environment.
• Post weekly Tribal mailings and update the Tribal Events calendar.
• Process check requests in a timely manner.
• Assist Tribal Members with completing Tribal forms and applications and issue Tribal Member ID cards.
• Comply with standard operating procedures and guidelines.
