Job summary

Indian Health Council, Inc. in Valley Center, CA is seeking a CHAP TPI Manager to lead the Community Health Aide Program and Tribal Planning initiatives.

You will supervise the CHAP team, align activities with program goals, and manage outreach and educational efforts within the tribal community. The role requires coordination with partners, development of training materials, and ensuring accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4 years’ experience in related program coordination, administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience managing employees, interns, or volunteers.
• Applicant must have excellent computer skills and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the department.
• Develop and interpret department policies and CQI activities, including data collection and reporting.
• Set and monitor short- and long-term goals aligned with strategy.
• Direct staffing and scheduling, ensure adequate coverage.
• Develop individual goals and evaluate employee performance.
• Facilitate meetings and ensure culturally relevant health promotions.
• Coordinate collaborations with Tribal entities to improve recovery and resources.
• Provide training on Opioid Use Prevention including MAT/MOUD.
