Job summary

Indian Health Council, Valley Center, CA, is seeking a CHAP TPI Manager to lead the Tribal Planning and Implementation grant activities for the Community Health Aide Program. You will supervise the CHAP team, align activities with program goals, and report on progress and outcomes.

The role requires strong coordination, communication, and cultural alignment with tribal partners. Onsite work in Northern San Diego County with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4 years’ experience in related program coordination, administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year supervisory experience managing employees, interns, or volunteers.
  • Applicant must have excellent computer skills and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the department or sub-section.
  • Develop, interpret, evaluate, and recommend department policies and procedures; participate in CQI activities.
  • Collaborate with the department director to set short- and long-term goals and monitor progress.
  • Supervise subordinate employees, establish schedules, and ensure staffing coverage.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to improve program outcomes and reporting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred
