Job summary

Nisqually Red Wind Casino is seeking a Trainee to develop gaming and regulatory knowledge, shadow and assist Agency staff, and learn to perform duties across Gaming Agent/Investigator, Surveillance Observer, Licensing Specialist, and Auditor roles. The trainee will transition to a regular position after completing the training period.

The role involves supporting NTGA operations, observing gaming activities for compliance, and learning to conduct background checks, audits, and licensing tasks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of casino gaming experience or equivalent.
• Must possess or be able to obtain Nisqually Tribal Gaming License.
• Must be able to tolerate working in a smoke-filled environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily NTGA office routines and operations.
• Monitor gaming operations for compliance with Tribal, State, and Federal laws.
• Plan, conduct, and document investigations and prepare reports and testimony as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies in investigations and evidence collection.
